Transcription Don't assume other people's beliefs
There are life experiences that provoke a strong shock in people and make them question their way of acting and thinking; This means, among other things, to assume a new system of beliefs but this change of beliefs is not always easy because sometimes they come with us inherited from the family environment or are reproduced unconsciously in the daily relationship with our closest group, thus taking habits and behaviors that are not useful for our life and when the time comes, if a person wants a personal advancement he has to rethink fundamental truths that define who he is and what is his place in the world; the answer, inevitably, goes through a careful analysis of his belief system.
Beliefs in our life
In the work sessions the coach shows the client how important it is for his personal progress to have moments of reflection to discover where his behavior comes from and decide if it is time to change it; and guides him through techniques that he makes available to him, so that he can uproot ideas that are no longer useful to his reality, selecting from his personal truth a new system of beliefs, taking into account that reality is always changing and varied, because each one observes it from the circumstances he is living.
By ignoring this natural dynamic, one runs the risk of annulling new possibilities of integrating oneself to reality, generating positive results and avoiding living from repetitive patterns that habit makes us reproduce automatically.
That is why the life coach trains his client to act consciously and to move away from automatisms, paying attention to inspiring examples of those who, having the same circumstances, have good results, thus demonstrating that it is possible to live differently if you think differently.
The model crisis stage
In professional coaching, the model crisis stage is known as the moment when a client is stuck between his ideas that are no longer useful in his current reality and what he wants to achieve for his life, creating a turning point that is emotionally dense for the client, requiring the specialized accompaniment of the coach because when going through this stage the client feels desperate, needs to express himself freely and channel the tension and anguish that the search for new answers generates.
In the work process, the coach will motivate the client to review his current reality in relation to his future goals and to define how the elements of that reality affect the results he obtains. The experienced coach understands that his client may, during this stage, suffer from stress and anxiety, and in addition to providing him with resources and tools to help him solve his discomfort, he encourages him to incorporate new knowledge and learning.
