Transcription Bad habits
During the course of our lives we interact with people who live and act differently. We cannot help but identify with some of them and, whether consciously or not, we even try to imitate them; other people, on the contrary, provoke rejection in us, we are very clear that we do not want to be like them.
But in the midst of the daily rush in which we live, we forget that we all began our lives as children, we were characterized by innocence and the environment in which we grew up was shaping our behavior and our image to others.
This issue is much more complex than it may seem at first glance, that is why in the work of professional coaching there is a space dedicated to the guidance and accompaniment of those who end up trapped in their bad habits, which prevent them from having a quality life.
We rarely associate a person dependent on harmful substances with a successful executive who conquers one achievement after another or with a famous super star and media, however, their behaviors reflect different ways of habits that end up destroying the fullness of their lives. Whether with the image of a victim or the image of a winner, these people require specialized help to regain balance in their lives.
Coaching to address bad habits.
When working with a client who is looking for help to get rid of the bad habits that are hurting him/her, the coach must be clear about whether this person is truly committed to leaving this stage of his/her life behind, as this sense of commitment is a very valuable resource to empower him/her in the process of reaching his/her goal. An experienced coach, in addition to gaining the trust of his clients, relies on good questions that aim to awaken in them the desire to review the way they see themselves.
In each of the sessions of personal advancement, the coach leads the client to analyze his reality until he is able to recognize the truth that he is living and accept his responsibility for what is happening in his life, because this is the only way for the person to experience a strong desire for change born in the depths of his inner essence.
Inner process.
A person who attends the sessions of personal advancement has to feel comfortable so that from this space of mutual trust they can interact sincerely, achieving that the questions asked by the coach, whether general or more personal can be answered from the truth and thus move towards the change you need to make in your beliefs by replacing, when you are ready, the bad habits for others that do bring real welfare to your life.
While it is true that in this process of change the client may encounter difficulties, the life coach will provide the necessary tools to help you gain strength, always respecting the pace of each one, as this depends on the ability and willpower of each one. When a person accepts his or her truth, takes responsibility for it and prepares for change, he or she becomes empowered and can really move forward.
Habits and attitudes
On the contrary, when a person, instead of assuming a humble attitude and recognizing that he/she must work on some aspect of his/her reality, is arrogant and defensive, he/she ends up closing a door to his/her own personal growth and development. This can often be seen in the music world, where potentially successful careers of gifted young people with a good voice are ruined, but when they are guided to follow a routine of voice and diction exercises, they simply do not accept it.
This arrogant attitude keeps them from the success they dream of, leading to frustration and a victim mentality of blaming others, pitying themselves and resorting to momentary pl
