Transcription Learn to make decisions

Many assume that getting the most out of every minute is the direct path to success and prosperity, and for some this has become an obsession; but this is not always the case, since a person's emotional health requires taking care of the balance between the cycles of activity and rest, something that most people know but do not always put into practice in their daily routine.

Although there are many methods to optimize time and successfully accomplish tasks, it is up to each person to choose the one that works best for them to fulfill their obligations and commitments without jeopardizing their health or their growth as an individual.

The Eisenhower Matrix

Making the right decisions regarding the fulfillment of tasks and establishing a correct order of priorities brings peace of mind, which is a very valuable resource for every person who goes through the process of personal advancement with the help of a life coach, who shares methods such as the Eisenhower matrix with his client in the work sessions.

This method has withstood the test of time for its practical usefulness and can even be found today as an application for use on cell phones.

When the coach shares this method with the client, it helps them gain self-discipline, decision-making capacity and peace of mind, which is very important for them to put into practice the personalized strategies that the coach has designed for them, eliminating from their lives the clutter that affects the client's state of wellbeing so much.

This is a simple and easily adaptable method to all needs and to all people, through which one learns to prioritize tasks and also to elaborate a list to accomplish them.

Classifying tasks

This method to efficiently manage time organizes tasks by creating a list with the things that must be done in a day, and classifies tasks into four groups, which are:

  • Urgent and important tasks, which are those that must be done as soon as possible, and generally involve other people; example: an unforeseen event that needs to be attended to.
  • Important but not urgent tasks, which have to do with long-term objectives, such as learning a new trade.
  • Urgent but not important tasks: These are tasks that do not need to be done immediately, and you can ask someone else to do them, but you do not have to do them yourself; for example, sending out invitations to an event.
  • Tasks that are neither urgent nor important: These are tasks that represent a distraction and should be eliminated as much as possible; an example of this is taking long breaks to have a snack.

Evident changes

When the life coach puts this resource in the client's hands, it helps them become more aware of their time an
