Transcription The stress generated by routine

Almost everyone knows someone who frequently repeats the phrase: "I'm stressed", implying that he or she does not feel in an optimal state of well-being, and by hearing and repeating it so much, there is a tendency to minimize what it really means, ignoring the warning call that our body, through various symptoms, is making us, so that we review our way of acting and thus avoid greater evils, because when we get involved in the daily routine to meet the demands that modern life demands, we ignore one of the greatest resources we have: Health, understood as an indissoluble whole, healthy mind and body, in order to enjoy a quality of life that allows us to conquer our highest dreams.

What causes us stress?

People hide their frustration or discomfort at having to assume obligations of different kinds; in fact, for some this is considered a sign of maturity, considering it normal to feel overwhelmed and weakened by the multitude of tasks without knowing that this inner congestion acts as a time bomb that when it explodes brings terrible results.

The life coach knows that the origin of stress is in the individual's response to a situation that overcomes him, frustrating him and generating negative emotions.

These negative emotions that provoke inappropriate behaviors in the person end up causing mental and physical exhaustion, high blood pressure, sweating, agitated breathing, cardiac arrhythmia, tremors, weakened immune system, among other manifestations that damage health.

From the first work sessions with the client, the coach will lead him/her to analyze in detail his/her current reality of life, to discover which aspects of his/her reality are affecting him/her, and to design a personalized strategy to help him/her change.

Learning to manage stress

From the beginning of the work sessions, the coach invites the client to practice simple but effective relaxation techniques that lead to a state of calm, and from there, learn to manage their emotions, as these are the ones that make them respond negatively to stimuli and situations that come from outside.

Training the client to free himself from stress is an important task for the coach who, step by step, leads him to understand the sequence in which this process is created and which begins with the ideas that are formed in his mind in a given situation.

When he understands that his ideas generate negative emotions which are responsible for his behavior, the client is in a position to accept that he is the only one responsible for controlling his ideas, which do not always have a real basis, but are interpretations of what he sees in reality. It is then up to him to decide whether to dominate his mind or let the opposite happen; for as the scholars of this subject point out, we can change our environment, work or partner, but we can never escape from our mind.

Stress-free personal advancement

Professional coaching brings great benefits to people who suffer from stress, because a trained client who decides to take control of their emotions, will be more able to take on new challenges in their personal advancement process.

An experienced coach when working with his client shares different techniques with him and checks which one adapts better to the person he is guiding, achieving greater effectiveness and shortening time during the process so that the person studies his priorities and decides which ones are not useful to achieve his goals.
