Origin and Definition of a Programmed Mindset

There are certain mindsets programmed into our minds on which we base our lives, and the first of these is known as the Egyptian mindset.

This way of thinking refers to the condition of those ancient peoples who lived under the immense pressure of the great empires of history.

People who operate under this paradigm simply depend on receiving the bare minimum in order to subsist and survive their harsh daily lives.

It is a state of conformity in which the horizon of expectations is reduced to what is strictly necessary to continue existing one more day in the world.

This mindset becomes an internal programming that limits us, preventing us from seeking or even imagining a reality that goes beyond mere survival.

The Cycle of Minimum Work and Minimum Reward

In ancient times, people worked tirelessly all the time, receiving in return only the enough to have a roof over your head and something to eat.

It was an extremely crude way of life, where monumental effort was given in exchange for a reward or payment that was truly minimal.

This cycle of exhausting work for minimal compensation is the main characteristic that defines the essence of this survivalist and pure subsistence mentality.

Life becomes a constant exchange in which we give up a large part of ourselves just to be able to secure the basics.

The Modern Manifestation in the World of Work

If we look around us in everyday life today, we will realize that many people simply work from dawn to dusk.

They operate as if they were modern slaves, working like camels in order to receive the minimum possible salary at the end of the month with which they can barely survive.

Even the mentality of some large companies is exactly the same: wanting to give a person the minimum salary possible to support themselves there.

This system perpetuates a cycle in which the individual is forced to kill themselves doing what they are doing for a salary that is barely enough.

Thus, the modern work structure can, in many cases, reflect and reinforce this old mentality of settling for whatever is necessary to survive today.

The Psychological Consequences: Without Peace or Future

When we live with this mentality, we are unable to see a future or imagine anything beyond what we are doing to survive each day.

It is a way of living that does not generate any type of tranquility, that does not give us peace and that does not provide us with a feeling of inner harmony.

The reason for this discomfort is that we are always receiving the minimum, which prevents us from feeling valued or with the hope of being able to prosper at some point.

This lack of vision and peace keeps us trapped in a continuous present of effort and scarcity, without the possibility of building a tomorrow that is different.
