Currents of coaching
There are several currents that guide the methodology of the coach and coachee, based on their vision of the human being and how to obtain the best results.
Main trends:
- Humanistic coaching [Europe]: non-directive style, focused on the potential of the person. It accompanies the person's development without taking responsibility for him/her.
- Practical Coaching [USA]: more directive and focused on results, motivation and action.
- Ontological coaching [South America]: seeks deep change through language, conversations and personal reflection.
