Establish a good sleep habit

Sleep is a fundamental aspect that students often sacrifice. Late nights studying are common, and while it may seem like we are making better use of our time, in reality, the next day our productivity decreases, our mental abilities suffer, and in the long run, so does our health.

It is important that you adapt your study sessions to suitable schedules, without compromising your rest. Sleeping between 7 and 8 hours a day is crucial to maintain your performance and health. The hours of sleep at night cannot be recovered, so it is better to postpone what is pending for the next morning and go to bed on time. This way you can get up earlier and get on with your study.

Minimize distractions

It's probably happened to you that when you're trying to study, you're constantly interrupted. During active hours, it is easy for the environment to insist on demanding your attention. Distractions such as the phone, television or unexpected events can rob you of valuable study time.

Before you start studying, make sure you create a suitable environment so that nothing interferes with you.
