Test Asking questions of value
Agenda
QUESTION 1: IS THE SOLUTION TO OUR CHILDREN'S PROBLEMS IN OUR ANSWERS?
We believe that we cannot be taken into account as we want with our children and this becomes a problem, since they are an important part of our lives
We are constantly trying to resolve most of your concerns, but how effective are we at this?
Many times the attention is dissociated because we fail to reach them as they need
The solution is not always in our response to young people's problems, but in knowing how to guide them so that they can find a coherent solution to their needs
QUESTION 2: WITH WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS CAN WE MAKE THEM REFLECT?
We can make them reflect with questions of value to them, questions that stimulate the rational use of their emotional intelligence, to get the best possible experience from situations
Throughout the education process, children should feel that they are learning to be autonomous when they overcome their own adversities
QUESTION 3: WHAT IS THE RESOURCE THROUGH WHICH WE WILL GET TO KNOW OUR CHILDREN'S CONCERNS?
Sometimes we tend to assume that the problems of our young people are less complicated than our own, and herein lies the mistake
The first resource through which we will be able to know the concerns that our children communicate to us is when we listen to them attentively
Young people do not yet have all the tools to handle certain situations, so those tools are provided by parents and we notice it when we pay attention
We have within our reach the key to, by example, get them to pay attention to the moment of communication
QUESTION 4: HOW DO WE EMPOWER OUR CHILDREN THROUGH THE APPRAISAL PROCESS?
In order to obtain results in the education of young people, we need to subject the situations they present to us to an assessment process
By asking the right questions we empower our children to self-evaluate what is right and what is wrong
In this way we make them responsible for the criteria and decisions that will help shape their own perception of the world
Some parents often choose a lecture or scolding, a method that offers few and unfavorable results when we seek to stimulate rational thinking
QUESTION 5: WHAT ARE THE BEST QUESTIONS WITH WHICH WE CAN APPROACH THE CONCERNS OF YOUNG PEOPLE?
The biggest problems for young people occur during integration and socialization with their peers
Disagreements between them as a result of the game drive them to take defensive attitudes and postures that influence their character
The best questions with which we can approach your concerns may be: How do you feel about the issue? How can we solve it?
Another question with which we help them define possible solutions is: how do they think things would be better?
QUESTION 6: HOW CAN WE HELP OUR CHILDREN TO MAINTAIN VALUES NECESSARY FOR THEIR PERSONALITY, SUCH AS RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT AND HUMILITY?
We do this by asking questions of value
These questions allow them to give order and priority to the most relevant issues in any situation, especially at times when their actions have consequences such as arguments and disagreements
We need them to gain knowledge through experience in addition to resolving the internal conflict they are dealing with
We remember to correct them with love and always put their creativity and learning skills to work for growth
