Transcription Evaluates how focused customers are

The initial sessions between coach and client should focus on the cognitive process that allows the coach to form a profile of the client that is as accurate as possible. One of the aspects that should be of most interest to the coach is the level of focus the client has on his or her business. This aspect is of utmost importance because it will significantly influence the impact and degree of effectiveness that the coach can have on the client.

An entrepreneur who is focused and centered on his business, who has a deep understanding of his finances, the legal aspects of his company, the deficiencies and strengths, among other aspects, will be much more receptive to the knowledge received and will execute it more effectively than another who does not show sufficient interest in the processes he is carrying out.

During the development of this guide, we will address some of the most important points that you can work on if you want to know the level of focus that your client has in his business.

Business finances

Business finances represent the core of the company's growth. It is the fundamental duty of every business owner to thoroughly master their financial numbers and know how to explain them confidently and fluently. Whether to attract external investment or to measure the degree of profitability of the company, finances contain a whole series of objective data that are essential for the correct management of the business.

If you want to measure how focused your client is on his venture, you can start by asking well-intentioned questions about some of the basic financial elements of the business. If you notice that your client is not able to answer accurately the data referred to, it is likely that the interest presented by your client is not the most optimal to successfully advance their venture.

Legal Aspects

By legal aspects we refer to all the legal requirements and procedures that a business must go through in order to start operating under the law. Every enterprise must apply for several commercial licenses or permits that enable it to enter into the framework of business relations in a legal manner. If your client does not know these elements, it is very likely that his business will go through several mistakes that could be costly.

To the aforementioned aspects must be added others such as taxes, market regulations and labor laws, just to mention a few. It is not conceivable to start a business without first getting proper advice on the legal procedures to be carried out.

Weaknesses and strengths

Every entrepreneur must be able to identify the deficiencies and strengths of his business. A critical stance towards our enterprise, denotes maturity and interest in improving those aspects that can be crucial to the success of the company. The coach should carry out a critical analysis with the client to reflect on the elements that should be worked on and those that should be strengthened to highlight our strengths.

Recognizing our weaknesses is a sign of mastery of the business we are facing. If the entrepreneur is able to cite the major weaknesses of his business, it means that he has taken the time to study and recognize where efforts should be focused in order to optimize results.

A balance between positive and negative aspects will also be of great use to the coach, as these aspects will govern the shaping of future strategies and guidance to be given to the client.
