Transcription Evaluate the results you achieve with your customers.

As a business coach we are applying all the measurement and control strategies on our company. But how do we know what we are doing right? We would wonder if we only see the result in the money we are earning if we keep track of results. It is necessary to know the direction of the business to evaluate the results you achieve in your customers. Evaluating the results allows us to have clarity on whether we are correctly fulfilling the objectives we set. We will be addressing this topic and its procedures to control the development and fulfillment of our objective.

Why is it important to evaluate results?

Evaluating the results we obtain with our clients is important because it can help us to identify existing problems in our service. The main objective of the evaluation is fulfilled with the eradication of the detected deficiencies. The evaluation of results should address detailed information of our service to customers and company statistics. A benefit we can get from a correct performance evaluation is to foresee future problems that we need to solve to ensure a better trajectory of our business.

Necessary questions for evaluation.

If we do not know how to proceed with the correct evaluation of results, we ask ourselves the following questions: How effective are the measures we take? We gain nothing when we take any action to address our problems but choose the most effective one for the solution, preferably one that is fast and efficient. What needs to be corrected? If something is not going the way we want, we do not need to change our whole procedure or execution, through the evaluation of results we learn to correct only the necessary aspects; that is, we change the pieces that are not working and keep the ones that are productive.

Specific objectives.

Normally this task of the evaluation of results is not only a look from above but from within the conflict that we want to detect. In order to set up our evaluation it is necessary to set specific objectives, and to achieve this we can propose what the result we want to obtain will be.

An important part of this evaluation process is to select the appropriate tools for the solution of the problem. The selection of the tools that we will use is the one that will guarantee us, besides the effectiveness, the time that the solution will take and the availability of resources to be used. For example, if we are going to evaluate customer satisfaction, we must focus on the personnel that attends, their preparation and knowledge; it would be a waste of time to achieve it from economic statistics.

Systematization in the evaluation.

As we know our clients are the living source of our actions and the evaluation does not end with just one satisfactory occasion, it is a procedure that requires systematization. The reason for the systematization in the evaluation of results depends on the difficulties that we find in our service system, from there it would be determined if a monthly, weekly or daily review is required. If we do not evaluate a certain problem with the company or the customer in a systematic way we will have a lack of control over the needs that hit our customers. If a customer detects some dissatisfaction in our service then the measures we applied for the solution of the problem were not effective enough, and the evaluation should be of a more systematic nature.

What can we evaluate?

The evaluation of our results can be very comprehensive, the first thing we check would be customer satisfaction, as this is the main movement of the company. Sales are a matter of constant evaluation, both economically and socially for the customer and the company. The cost is a subject of frequency in the evaluation closely linked to the demand of our offer, and as our data, show economic benefits or losses in our finances. We can also evaluate: labor satisfaction, productivity, return on investment, in short, as many aspects as we determine important for the proper functioning of the business.
