Transcription Have a good attitude
Our attitude plays an important role in life, mainly to set goals. When we set out to improve our attitude, it is because we detect contradictions in our character that affect our daily life. We are the ones who choose to have a good attitude towards life, since we can develop it from our feelings and thoughts about how we see ourselves and how the world sees us. What do we want to achieve? To consider a change of attitude also implies motives for new perspectives of life in which we will give and get the best as an experience.
Locus of control.
The locus of control is a term used in psychology and is given to the attribution of importance that we give to our behavior and how we assume it before life. The locus of control is categorized as internal and external according to its occurrence. The internal locus of control is manifested when we recognize that the events of external factors depend on our behavior and we are responsible for maintaining control over their consequences. On the other hand, the external locus of control refers to events beyond our control that determine our internal condition, such as attributing sadness or happiness to something independent of us.
Personal development.
The attitude towards life is highly influenced by our level of empowerment for decision making and this is what determines our personal development. With an internal locus of control, we are less influenced by external opinions and we have a better sense of self-efficacy at work. In other effects are also those who are managed by external factors allowing their mood and attitude to be dependent on situations that they do not have the power to change, causing their life to be constantly conditioned from outside. We decide what attitude favors us for a good personal development and thus we assume or not happiness for ourselves.
Accept criticism.
An element that contributes a lot to our personality although we do not see it are the criticisms that we receive. Many times we put aside the criteria to live our own purpose but within the criticisms are hidden arguments that we can take advantage of to strengthen our attitude. With them our mistakes become evident as others are more capable of noticing them because they are outside the problem. Some assume that criticism is an attack on our emotions without appreciating that it is the key to our self-improvement and to know which areas we should pay more attention to.
Have an open mind.
If we want to enjoy a good attitude in which we give and receive positivity, it is advisable to have overcome trivial things and be open-minded. Being receptive to new knowledge gives us the advantage of better learning what is important from both positive and negative experiences. This allows us to remain attentive even in times of criticism of our work or behavior. On the other hand, if we are closed we run the risk of becoming arrogant and not perceiving achievements and defeats.
Be grateful.
Gratitude is an element of the personality that identifies people with a positive attitude towards life because it shows that we are in balance with our past, whether it has been good or bad. Through the practice of gratitude we can receive an important volume of good actions in our benefit establishing a chain between giving and receiving; if you want something from the world then you must give it and this in one way or another will give it back to you increased.
