Transcription Well-paid work that you are not passionate about vs. doing what you love
We are in the midst of personal needs and projections that from one moment to the next push us to redefine the fundamental and unavoidable aspects of growth. Let's say we have a good job, one in which the salary covers most of the basic needs to keep us monetarily happy, but we are not passionate enough about it and we only work for money. You are good in your area of work and your support is significantly important in the company you work for, but it is not what you really want to do with your life. So when we reflect on the present we have to ask ourselves, how do I see myself represented in the future? Do you want to continue serving others or do you want to achieve something for yourself, something that you will leave to your descendants as a legacy and that will also change your work situation. Entrepreneurship in what you love is the answer to the questions that arise at the moment of professional definition.
Salaried slave vs. independence.
Analyzing a little bit the situation in which many people find themselves and in fact we can be ourselves is that, we belong to a business that supplies our basic needs, good salary, good working conditions and work environment. It may seem to be favorable, but we recognize that we are wage slaves, we have the mission to question where is the value that we really want to contribute from ourselves, our ideas. It is not all about money but about professional fulfillment, a willingness to be useful from our own tools and means. The search for independence turns out to be a factor that leads us to personal success, that success that we only recognize properly and of which we know how much we have lost and how much there is still to gain.
Comfort zone vs. risk taking.
As you may notice, for us, being in a good job represents a symbolic comfort zone because it guarantees a certain standard of living. Who would dare to give up such an opportunity? Taking risks towards a new venture in which we would change something we are not passionate about for other things we love to do is a decision that few manage to assume. In case of projecting ourselves for a venture in which we can be leaders we must leave this comfort zone because the fear of failure stagnates us in the stability that at some point may end by itself.
Personal vision vs. the vision of others.
One element that we have in mind to differentiate what would lead us to an enterprise in something we are passionate about would be the vision. Personal vision is always the main driver of healthy entrepreneurial ideas where we defend the things we really want to dedicate our time and emotionality to. When we refer to someone else's vision it is the case of a boss pursuing a goal. It is not a bad thing to contribute to the growth of other sectors as we can give ourselves the opportunity to learn tools that we will later use as leaders of our own company. The difference between a personal vision and the vision of others are the interests; when we work for an employer we must adapt to the concept of your company, while the personal vision with which we form our company responds to the value we believe and defend.
Making a difference.
Our passion is what shapes the final concept of added value that we are pursuing. When we become aware of this is that many employees always come up with the idea of making their own business, with their own rules. The purpose of every entrepreneur as a value can be summarized as making a difference, for this we focus first on personal growth management. If we do not propose to make a difference with our business we would be repeating a scheme where we do not generate a unique customer experience and the interest would be only money, like many businesses that would not get anywhere.
