Transcription Strength exercises

Strength exercises or also known as anaerobic exercises are among the most practiced exercises by fitness enthusiasts. These exercises are very popular because they help us to see results very easily. Through strength we manage to push the muscle fibers of our body to the limit and cause them to grow and strengthen. This allows us to increase our muscle mass while burning calories, so that our body begins to tone and show a healthier physical appearance.

During this guide we will be addressing some basic issues related to strength exercises, as well as recommending some of them so you can start working them.

Strength or Anaerobic Exercises

The strength or anaerobic exercises are those that seek to enhance our muscle strength, the basis of these exercises is to perform considerable weight loads, making use of the muscles. In this way we manage to push them to the limit, forcing them to expand and grow. When we load considerable weights, the muscle microfibers tend to break and are replaced by other stronger ones, capable of resisting the weight to which the previous ones were subjected. This means that our muscle mass begins to increase and we gain more strength.

There are many ways to perform strength exercises, however, we consider that the main scenario will always be a gym, either at home because you have the conditions and equipment necessary for it or in a paid gym.

As recommended strength exercises are:

  • Dumbbells to exercise the biceps: They allow you to regulate the weight easily. They work the entire biceps area. Through repetition exercises you can achieve the increase of these muscles in a very short time.
  • The bench press: The bench press or prom, as it is known in some places, is one of the most popular and effective exercises we know. Through repetition sessions, you can work the entire pectoral area, enlarge your chest and strengthen the muscles.
  • The pulleys to exercise the triceps and back: The use of weighted pulleys is one of the best exercises to work the back and triceps, although it may be a somewhat complex exercise at first, it is easily learned because it is very intuitive.
  • This exercise can be worked both for the back and triceps and in both cases shows a high effectiveness.
  • Use of dumbbells to strengthen the shoulders: Dumbbells can be used to strengthen the shoulders through semicircular upward movements. It is a complementary exercise but it has a significant influence on the aesthetics of your body.

Do I need a trainer?

If this is the first time you are approaching strength exercises you will need a trainer to guide you correctly on the methodology to apply. It is important to note that strength exercises present a much higher complexity and risk of injury than cardio exercises. A trainer is the right person to plan your exercise routines and control the weights to which you submit yourself. A poorly ex
