Transcription Expressing what we feel

We live in a world that has ignored for a long time the inner human emotional universe and has only paid attention to the external.

Today we can talk openly about topics such as emotional intelligence, the aspects that derive from it and its importance to build healthy interpersonal relationships. The fact of opening the personal emotionality with our children is the best way to teach them to recognize themselves as human beings and to project their actions consciously.

The communicative thread with them is the most precious good we obtain when we have built, both parents and children, value in the family relationship. While it is important to provide an education where there are learning rules and duties, the child also needs an emotional stimulation that would be difficult to find in another environment outside the home. All contexts can be favorable for learning, but the family is the first school where the first knowledge is absorbed.

Positive and optimistic perspective.

When we talk to our children we must avoid an attitude that can trigger misunderstanding, i.e., we need a positive and optimistic outlook that brings them interest.

Openly demonstrating our love for them is vital to help build their self-esteem. Good feelings are not enough, it is essential to express them in an optimistic way. Acknowledging and encouraging our youngsters' good deeds, letting them know how comforted we are by them, can surely encourage them to maintain a better attitude towards learning events such as studies or interpersonal relationships.

Children have a high level of perception when it comes to emotions, therefore we must know that a wrong attitude towards them can leave them a lot to think about and gradually modify their character.

Privilege.

The most important thing when we address the youngsters at home is to be able to understand our work of parenthood as a privilege and not as a responsibility. We have chosen to be parents although, sometimes it comes as a surprise and this must represent a positive fact in our lives, therefore it is our mission to give them everything necessary for their formation.

Not recognizing parenthood as a privilege can bring consequences that are later reflected in the personality and beliefs of the child, they notice when they lack the affection and dedication from the parents. Many times the big problem lies in not being sufficiently prepared to assume parenthood and its responsibility, resisting to accept the positive changes in this stage of life that never ends.

Teamwork.

A child does not come into the world by its own means, they come from a father and a mother, the conscious fruit of both of them forming a family. The material and emotional burden comes from both sources, therefore, the main thing to raise and educate a child properly is the active participation of both parents in this task.

Teamwork is beneficial for our children when they receive the harmonious and loving balance that parents must guarantee at home. It is incorrect to leave all the work to one of the two, because the development of family empathy that we wish to instill in the most important member of the household can be affected by the absence and emptiness of one of them.

Keeping promises.

How do we encourage trust with our children? Actually, a child's needs are simple and have to do with knowing that they have an important place.

We can encourage the bond of trust when we follow through on the promises we make. Promises are rewards for children's good behavior, and they expect them as a relevant event in their lives; it benefits and excites them to know that their good behavior brings stimuli that satisfy their personal emotionality.

Example of the parent we did not have.

Through the ways we use to communicate personal feelings to our children, we can openly go back to the past and the relationship with our parents.

We reference everything we learned as children, the path to adulthood and how
