These days the coaching profession has become very popular both for the modality of work and for the emotional benefits it represents for the Coach and for those who request the service. But how to be a good Coach? This is a preparation that requires effort and motivation to be able to contribute to the growth of other companies or people. The first part of the work is manifested from the fact of being competent. Being competent implies knowing our abilities and our limits, what we can do and how far we can go in all aspects of life. When we face any kind of work we have in front of us the challenge of competence, if we will be capable enough to achieve our goals.

Being competent.

Many times we meet people who have the willingness to help but do not have the necessary knowledge, in other occasions there are people who know a lot about a certain subject of work but in reality they do not know how to carry it out because they do not have the necessary skills. The concept of "competence" encompasses a series of requirements such as willingness, knowledge, skills and values to perform a specific task in some kind of context. When we assume that we are competent in an area of work or profession, we are committed to being able to do the job efficiently.

Observation.

For the work of Coaching it is necessary to use our senses to the maximum. Observation allows us to get in direct contact with our client and gather a lot of information about his situation. As long as we are good and perceptive perceivers we can find details to work on with the client gradually. You know what they say, it's the first impression that counts, and through observation we also come to several conclusions that help us to know the person we are dealing with and their context.

Attentive listening.

The most important factor in the coaching process is listening, this is how we really get to the concerns of our clients. Everyone has something to say, everyone wants to be heard, to be taken into account and our work also includes making the client feel valued, therefore the most important thing the client needs is attentive listening. Without listening there is no communication possible because to be able to help we need to know what the other person thinks, what worries him/her, w
