Benefits of consuming fruits: There are countless benefits that are associated with the regular consumption of fruits. Just to highlight a few, it is valid to say that fruits are a considerable source of antioxidants. Antioxidants interact in our organism allowing that the damages suffered by our cells can be delayed, all this helps us in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, the appearance of tumors, among others.

Fruits are essential for weight loss, because they have negligible amounts of fat and calories. In addition, having a high fiber content allows us to satiate our appetite more easily without having to eat large amounts of food. In this same sense, the contribution of fiber is beneficial for digestion and prevention of constipation.

It helps us to combat various digestive disorders, stomach discomfort, and has shown positive results against neurodegenerative diseases. They are an important source of water for the body and contain considerable and varied amounts of vitamins and minerals.

Classification of fruits: Fruits are classified in various ways, among the best known are the following:

  • Neutral fruits: Neutral fruits are generally among the richest in minerals and vitamins. They are high in fiber and essential nutrients. The consumption of this type of fruits is very important to complement the demand of proteins of our diet, this is essential for a vegetarian diet, if we take into account that the same one has limited the consumption of meats.
