Transcription Breathing control exercises for relaxation.

One of the most effective approaches to relieving stress is through breath control. In this session, we will explore a variety of breathing exercises that can help employees relax, reduce anxiety and improve their focus at work.

These simple yet powerful breathing exercises can be performed anytime, anywhere, making them a valuable tool for increasing work productivity and promoting overall well-being.

Importance of Breathing Control

Breathing is a vital function that we often overlook, but it has a significant impact on our emotional and physical well-being. In times of stress, our breathing tends to be shallow and rapid, which can further increase anxiety and affect our productivity.

Teaching employees the importance of conscious breath control can help them manage stress more effectively and improve their job performance.

As a coach, we will explain to employees how to inhale for 4 seconds, hold the breath for 7 seconds and exhale for 8 seconds. As a coach, we will guide employees to take a few minutes during the day to focus on their breathing without judgment or interruption. This mindfulness practice can help them be present in the moment and reduce anxiety related to the past or future.

The alternate breathing exercise is a technique from the yoga tradition that balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain. As a coach, we will show employees how to gently plug one nostril while inhaling thr
