Transcription Surgeries and aging
One of the most noticeable effects of reaching old age is the progressive change in our physical appearance. Our skin begins to show its wear and tear over the years, wrinkles appear that deform our face, our hair begins to turn white, our metabolism does not work the same as before so our weight no longer varies with great ease, giving way to an increase in fat, our breasts begin to fall and hair loss is evident with great force in men. All this leads many people to turn to cosmetic surgeries in order to solve their appearance problems.
Whether or not it is correct to perform surgery in order to look younger than our age, there is a whole debate from different sectors of society. During this guide we will be addressing this controversial issue, analyzing the phenomenon of aging from the aesthetic point of view and the impact that surgical solutions have on it.
Learning to accept old age or fighting against it?
The debate on aesthetic surgeries as a solution to combat the aesthetic effects of aging is positioned at two extremes, where there are those who defend that aging is a natural process that we must learn to accept, loving our body as it is, without undergoing operations that make up our physical appearance.
On the other hand, there are those who see cosmetic surgeries as a great solution to combat aging, so they promote the use of these surgeries to look younger and improve our self-esteem.
Regarding this debate, we believe that the most sensible point is in the middle. It is true that aging is an unstoppable natural process, so sooner or later we will have to deal with it. This does not mean that cosmetic surgeries should be demonized. Surgical operations in order to look better are just one more of the many mechanisms we use throughout our lives to look the way we want to look. We could also attack make-up, which in the end is part of the same beautification industry. From a young age we dye our hair, wear clothes that conceal our fatness, use accessories to look better, etc.
The aesthetic surgical operations are not negative in any way, where it could go deeper is in the misuse of them. Learn to love and accept yourself, because there is no aesthetic treatment that can fight against aging for life, but if you want to have an aesthetic operation you do not have to feel bad, we all want to look better and if these are useful to achieve that goal, it is your body and your decision.
Misuse of cosmetic surgeries
The advance of cosmetic surgeries is increasing. Every year there are new miraculous solutions that offer to make us look as if we were twenty years old. Obsessing about our physique can be harmful, aging brings many physical changes that you will not be able to correct with any cosmetic treatment.
Before making the decision to undergo an operation, try to verify by all possible means that it meets your expectations. Likewise, take your time to find out about the studies that support it, the time it has been tested and the quality and professionalism of the doctors who will perform it.
The fact that we are talking about aesthetics does not make you forget that it is still a surgery, so you will have to deal with a series of risks to evaluate.
