According to the particularities of the endomorph body, there are certain foods that are more recommended for their nutritional characteristics. As in everything, we seek to maximize the use of certain types of food, while reducing others. This guide is intended to serve as a basis for you to know what foods are essential in your diet, if you are an endomorph, and you are looking to reduce your body weight without sacrificing the quality of the nutrients you consume.

You must keep in mind that these aspects attend to the biological and metabolic needs of this type of organism, regardless of the fact that any diet must be well balanced in its nutrient density, the advice given here does not necessarily apply to all body types or all types of diets. Boost foods that provide protein: Protein allows us to satiate our hunger more easily than any other food, it is also related in a good way with our metabolism and contributes significantly to the process of gaining muscle mass.

Among the foods with protein load more suitable for endomorphs are:

  • Chicken breast.
  • Fish.
  • Eggs.
  • Nuts and dried fruits.

You can use protein powder as a nutritional supplement, although generally if you maintain a diet rich in calories you will not need them. Carbohydrates and fruits: Regarding carbohydrates, the less of them in our diet the better. We have some alternatives such as whole-grain carbohydrates that can be useful if you have a hard time separating yourself from this type of nutrient. As an example of whole-grain or "complex" carbohydrates we have:

  • Whole wheat bread.
  • Brown rice.
  • Legumes.

Fruits, especially the juices that we usually prepare, must be natural and low in sugar. Do not abuse them too much, and avoid boxed juices, no matter how natural they are, they always have additives high in sugar.

Do not eat cereals, they are not necessary in your diet and avoid excess salt in your meals. Always remember that an endomorph body is much more sensitive to sugar than any other body. Fats: Regarding fats, we will need to avoid saturated fats or trans fats, instead we will promote the consumption of unsaturated fats from foods such as:

  • Olive oil.
  • Peanut.
  • Avocado.

Useful foods for your diet:

  • Almond butter: This has a high content of healthy fats and protein, two aspects that combined are of great benefit to an endomorph body. Almond butter should be chosen in its sugar-free version.
  • Cod: Cod is a very important source of protein, and at the same time, it has large amounts of vitamins such as B complex vitamins, which help reduce cholesterol and interact in the body's metabolic processes.
  • Nuts: They have a high fiber content and are excellent as an appetizer, since they have instant effects when it comes to satiating hunger.
  • Cumin: It is one of the most recommended spices. This is due to its high iron content and its digestive value. In addition to the above mentioned, cumin has benefits in the control of our cholesterol.
  • Goat cheese: Goat cheese is an excellent substitute for cow cheese. It has high levels of omega 3, and its composition is low in lactose. Undoubtedly, it is a food that is easy to combine and that can perfectly harmonize our diet.
