Transcription Safety vs. risk

This section becomes interesting especially because we are talking about life, two fundamental concepts to analyze and understand how they condition us. The vast majority of people seek a sense of financial, physical and even sentimental security amidst so much turbulence. It is natural to be tied to responsibilities such as a job to support, a home to sustain or a course or university to back us up. Surely with these things we will have a quiet life, but have you ever wondered what happens if we go out and take risks in our lives? There are few people who leave behind all dreams of calm and routine to venture into change and endless experiences from which to learn.

The familiar.

Let's start at the beginning, there are the things that we have culturally inherited and that we reproduce such as studying, to get a good job with which to support an income or a house, and the other thing that follows, committing to someone to make a family and grow old. There are also the things that we do not let go of because we feel they are necessary and on which our present depends a lot. We live with the gratification that we are in a comfort zone surrounded by a certain stability and from where we do not dare to leave. What would happen if we look outside? There is still a lot of fear of seeing ourselves on the road with nothing in our pockets, but what if you had nothing? Somehow we would start by taking the first step into the unknown. The vast majority would cling to not losing what surrounds them, their safe zone.

The unknown.

Here we are already in uncertainty, what is beyond what we know? A large part of entrepreneurs are often stimulated by this question to find the answer. We can simply find what we are capable of dreaming. We as Coaches are also entrepreneurs, any form of security must be created by ourselves; there is no concrete formula to guarantee that we will be successful, everyone goes their own way. It is normal to avoid the unknown, especially when it symbolizes putting the known at risk.

The world within.

Our thoughts about how we see reality drive us to stay attached to the idea of security that we know. Even if we are not entirely satisfied with the job because we don't feel it is fulfilling or that we are not exploiting our skills to the fullest we know that this salary supports a certain standard of living and if we abandon this we will lose our mind completely. Why am I going to abandon what I know? Why am I going to take that risk? This is the normal way of thinking inside us. We end up accepting our reality as it is, condemning ourselves that what we earn now solves all our problems even if it does not represent personal well-being.

The world outside.

After crossing that door nothing will be as it was before. The first thing to push us is to feel some dissatisfaction with the present and the reality you live, there are things you need to change, start new experiences around you. You know that out there there is an infinity of probabilities for you and you have the thirst to learn, to expand your vision of the unknown world. We go in search of a motivation, what you really like to do and with what you can help to change both you and what surrounds you. When we decide to change our present does not mean that we must necessarily lose what we already have, but we go in search of more.

Realize dreams.

The second step to complete what you are or want to be is to dream; they can tell you to keep your feet on the ground but it is important to visualize ourselves as we want to feel that we can achieve it on the real plane. Aspirations come to represent the greatest motivation to direct
