Transcription Recovering Authentic Voice and Intuition

Exercises for Strengthening the Intuition

Intuition is not abstract mysticism, but a rapid, subconscious information processing mechanism based on previous patterns.

Narcissistic abuse dismantles this system through systematic invalidation (gaslighting), leading the victim to distrust his or her own sensory and cognitive perceptions.

Rehabilitation of this faculty requires progressive "retraining", similar to physiotherapy after muscular atrophy. Low-risk exercises are proposed to recalibrate this intuitive "muscle".

One suggested protocol is the prediction of trivial events: before checking a digital notification, the individual should pause and try to intuitively discern its nature or sender.

Similarly, recording "hunches" or visceral impressions about everyday situations (such as the weather or the character of a new person) in a diary, and then contrasting them with factual outcomes, is also encouraged.

This empirical validation restores confidence in the internal compass, demonstrating that the capacity for judgment is still intact.

Automatic Writing and Oneiric Analysis

To access the authentic voice silenced by the introjection of the offender's voice, automatic writing is used.

This technique involves writing continuously and unfiltered for a timed period (starting with 5-10 minutes), allowing for a "brain dump".

By overcoming the barrier of conscious editing and self-censorship, messages from the "Higher Self" or subconscious emerge, revealing truths and desires that had been repressed to ensure survival in the abusive environment. Complementarily, dream incubation is suggested.

Before the night's rest, the individual asks a question to his or her deep psyche.

Upon awakening, the dream remnants are recorded before they are dissipated by daytime logic.

This symbolic analysis offers direct access to inner wisdom unmediated by defense mechanisms, facilitating decision-making aligned with the subject's true identity.

Reclaiming the Narrative in the Face of Distortion

The trauma of the "unheard voice" in childhood or in the abusive relationship generates a fragmentation where the individual feels that expressing him/herself is dangerous.

Recovery involves an act of sovereignty: claiming authorship of one's own story.

The survivor must challenge the narrative imposed by the abuser (who defined him or her as "crazy," "sensitive," or "incompetent") and rewrite it based on observable facts and self-validation. This process is consolidated through the practice of assertiveness.

If the voice was muffled for fear of punishment, healing requires symbolically "speaking" to the young parts of the self that were silenced, assuring them that the safety needed to speak the truth now exists.
