Laboratory conditions

To carry out allergen analysis, laboratories must be well equipped and have personnel trained in these functions, in addition to having the necessary facilities for this type of analysis.

In order to be able to perform this type of analysis, the laboratories used must be accredited according to the iso 17025 standard and also with the existing standards for each method used.

In addition to this, the laboratories must prove that they participate regularly and successfully in proficiency tests for the methods used. These laboratories should be governed in their activities and operations by a protocol of good laboratory practices or by the use of equivalent procedures.
