Some of the products that contain this substance are:

• Commonly used items: pacifiers, nipples, tires, mattresses, shoe soles, gloves, cables, condoms, adhesive tape, balloons, balls, glue, rubber, dolls, television controls, hoses, bath mats, escalators, pool hats and socks, elastic fabrics, sports courts, balls, mats, stickers and elastic sportswear.

• Medical products: gloves, probes, vials, masks, adhesive plasters, plasters, plaster, tension cuffs, catheters, compressors, serums.

People who are already allergic should take extreme precautions to avoid allergic reactions. As a consequence of the large-scale production of natural rubber products, we have been exposed to it since childhood (pacifiers, teethers, etc.), so we realize that preventing latex exposure is a very complicated task, forcing us to change the specific rhythm of life at home, school, work and in medical care.
