This cognitive dimension refers to the analytical ability to understand the user's thought structure, worldview and logical schema without direct affective synchronization.

The consultant must rationally process how his interlocutor perceives the world in order to anticipate his reactions and operational needs.

If a raw material supplier experiences a critical delay, the account manager must logically deduce the logistical and financial impact this will have on the buyer's production chain, thus structuring a viable alternative.
