Inflammation of the genitourinary tract

The bacterial invasion throughout the excretory and reproductive systems triggers a physiological defense response that results in severe inflammation of the internal mucous membranes.

This pathological process, clinically known as urethritis when it affects the main urinary tract, is characterized by redness, swelling, and severe irritation of the epithelial walls.

As pathogenic microorganisms multiply, the epithelial tissue suffers continuous microlesions that compromise its structural integrity.

This harmful fluid not only constantly oozes through the urethral meatus, soiling the genital area and causing severe hygienic discomfort, but also contributes to the spread of the microorganism to other nearby skin surfaces.

The sustained presence of this thick, irritating fluid macerates the surrounding tissues, exacerbating the inflammation described above and serving as the most obvious clinical indicator of active colonization of the urogenital tract.
